Photo Competition 2016 – winners!
The Bright Water Landscape Project aims to restore and celebrate the built, natural and cultural heritage of the area surrounding the River Skerne and its tributaries.
In the summer of 2016 we ran a competition to find 12 photographs taken by members of the public to illustrate a 2017 calendar that published in wall planner format and distributed across the region.
We received a wonderful range of entries – please see the gallery below.
Our heritage includes the remains of castles, deserted medieval villages, the Bishop’s deer park walls and swannery, mills and factories, follies and formal parks, beautiful riverside walks and our natural heritage of wildlife and flora. As you can see below, through our competition we found many talented photographers to celebate this with us.
